011Jim has been active in the building industry for almost 34 years starting out in 1983 working on a framing crew building custom homes throughout Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. After years as a framing contractor he moved into the realm of providing full service general contracting on projects ranging from custom homes to all aspects of home improvements.

In 1996 he made the move into the commercial building industry joining the Carpenters Local 155 of Plainfield ,NJ. While working on projects from schools and office buildings to shopping centers, he has become experienced in all aspects of commercial carpentry from concrete construction, exterior metal framing and specializes interior office and store fit outs. Jim’s commercial experience also includes office furniture installation and raised flooring systems.

While working for companies like Arbor Interiers, Sloan, Interstate Drywall, Epic Construction and various others, Jim has worked on projects from I.E.F. School in Green Brook,NJ; Green Brook Middle School; Koles in Linden; A&P Shopping Center, Park Ave. S.Plfd.; Edwards/Stop & Shop of Piscataway; CitiGroup of Warren; Home Depot Regional Center in S. Plfd.; Six Flags Outlet Center in Jackson; Merck of Rahway; Cornell Office complex in Berkley Heights; TD Bank in Warren; TD Bank in Scotch Plains; Watchung Square Mall; Abercrombie Finch stores at Short Hills along with various other projects.

Since forming Jersey Strong Construction in November of 2012, James has been working as a project manager in the construction of single family homes and complete renovations and rehabs of properties for the retail market.
